I like to do a family photo around Christmastime each year, because we’re all gussied up and whatnot. We skipped it last year because I was due to have a baby any day and felt awful, but we did it in [http://www.jennahsgarden.com/2010/12/wordless-wednesday-the-family-christmas-picture - something is up with this and it won't link, but there is the URL to copy/paste] 2010 and also in 2009 and 2008 (can’t find that year at the sec). I really wanted to do one this year with all of us. I’m planning on doing another family photo shoot with Ben Hallissy in the spring, when Miss A is about 1 1/2 and can walk (eek!!), but we won’t bring the dog to that, and obviously not the cats, so I want to keep up the Christmas tradition and do one of the whole gang.
This year, Will was lucky enough to have off on both Christmas AND Christmas Eve without even having to request it! That’s only happened once before, so it was great. I had my mom stop by before going to my aunt’s house (who lives nearby) for Christmas Eve, and she did the same thing she did for our maternity photos…used that fast shutter to its fullest!
Here’s “the keeper,” followed by “the rest” (not all of them, but a decent selection!).
I still can’t believe that little one will be turning ONE in just a few short days!
Just as a reminder, this is what I looked like exactly one year before the above photos were taken. eep!

Love the pics, the action shots, too. And the suggestions and ideas for a baby registry and gifts — good info.
Can hardly believe your sweet little Ainsley is almost 1!
