I’ve outlined how I’m starting seeds this year already. In part of my efforts to be more organized, I also ordered some little plastic baggies to store seeds. Usually, I just fold over the top of the bag them come in and stick them in a box, but that always risks them spilling out when I go through things, and that sucks. These I got from Amazon for super-de-duper cheap.
If you want to order your own, these are the ones I got (I actually got 2 sizes, but the second size hasn’t come in yet):
They’d also be great to store other stuff (jewelry during a trip?) So you probably want to win some instead of buying, right?
Well, I also accidentally ordered TWO packets of Stevia from Seed Savers Exchange this year, and I don’t need two. (Beware when you open the package – the seeds are almost like dandelion fluffs!) So you get a chance to win!
Never used stevia? It’s that herb that’s used as a sweetener, and it REALLY is sweet! You can actually chew on the leaf and it tastes like sugar. I use it in tea all summer long. Just pinch off and break apart a few leaves and toss them in.
PRIZE 1: 1 packet of Stevia seeds and 20 seed saving bags.
PRIZE 2: 20 seed saving bags

I really want to try stevia so this is great!
We are planning to move this spring/summer so I hope we can get a place with a large yard and start a veggie/fruit garden. I really want to grow some of my own produce!
We have a large yard and garden — I will probably plant our standards (beans, peas, tomatoes, carrots, beets, corn, squash, and tomatoes. ) And then I always try one or two new varieties.
