I’ve outlined how I’m starting seeds this year already. In part of my efforts to be more organized, I also ordered some little plastic baggies to store seeds. Usually, I just fold over the top of the bag them come in and stick them in a box, but that always risks them spilling out when I go through things, and that sucks. These I got from Amazon for super-de-duper cheap. If you want to order your own, these are the ones I got (I actually got 2 sizes, but the second size hasn’t come in yet): They’d also be great […]

Heyyyy, way to post a bajillion posts in a row, Jennah! I know I know. But things just keep HAPPENING! Right? So anyway. I read Young House Love pretty much daily and am really getting into it with Bower Power. I have done the Pinterest Challenge before (No Sew Pillowcase and Onesie Dress), so here I am again. I scoured my pinboards for something that I thought I could get done in a timely fashion and came up with nadaaa. In the end, I ended up finding a bunch of tutorials for Sharpie tie dye and decided to try that […]
The winner of the Troy-Bilt giveaway (winning a TBC57 Cordless / Battery-Powered Cultivator) is… Congratulations, Benjamin! (May I call you Ben?) I really hope you’ll keep me updated on your front yard prairie plan, because that sounds awesome. I’ll be contacting you via email tomorrow, and you better be making a blog or something so I can follow your plans! I have a million posts in my head and camera right now, but I also have lots of busy weekends. Fair warning: some involve the garden, and some involve the baby.
…don’t be disgusting. It’s not that. It’s a garden blogger thing! Last year I was chosen to be a part of Troy-Bilt’s Saturday Six program, and this year they decided to keep the same group together! Which is pretty cool since I’m all internet friendly with the group now, since we actually got to meet in person (can we say “out of Jennah’s comfort zone but ended up fun”?). So yet again, I’ll be putting together some tip videos (maybe one that features Ainsley OUT of my belly!…though she’s not much help in the garden), doing some reviews, and giving […]
kimmyshimmy! Congratulations Kimmy – I hope this gives you a little extra shimmy this holiday and helps you take care of both your yard and your elderly in-laws. I’ll be contacting you to get your info soon. Thank you to everyone who entered. I was really touched by how many people said they’d use the TB144 to take care of not only their yard, but also a friend or neighbor’s. You guys are really sweet! If you’d like to purchase the TB144, head on over and buy it directly from Troy-Bilt. I also highly recommend their garden hand tools for […]
